About Military Schools
Rashtriya Military Schools are CBSE affiliated, fully residential public schools, which function under the aegis of Ministry of Defence. Rashtriya Military school invites application for Class VI & Class IX.
Rashtriya Military School Admission depends on CET(Common Entrance Test) followed by an interview. CET is an offline test which uses OMR to evaluate students performance. Candidates who clear the CET and are shortlisted in the merit list are required to appear for Interview at respective Rashtriya Military Schools. Final merit list is prepared after the Interview. Results are hosted on the School website www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.in .

About AISSEE
Sainik school admission is held for admission to class VI and IX in 26 Sainik Schools situated across India. Sainik Schools are all-boys residential schools run by Sainik Schools Society under the Ministry of Defence. In the admission process, Sainik School Society conducts a written test known as AISSEE. After the release of the merit list based on this written test, candidates who clear the exam are called for the interview and medical examination. Seats are granted to candidates based on merit. The tests for class VI and IX are held for 300 and 400 marks, respectively. Questions are asked from topics covered in the syllabus according to Sainik School exam pattern. After the interview and medical examination, the conducting body releases the final merit list, based on which, seats are allotted to candidates.
